Mauricio Gonzalez de la Fuente,
Vice President of Product & Business Development
Mauricio led product and business group teams for more than 20 years at Microsoft. Over the years, Mauricio built a career accumulating a breadth of leadership experiences spanning from product ideation, product planning, business development, and global field sales and marketing management.
His responsibilities over the years included managing a $1.5b P&L as Windows Business Group leader, driving global business interventions with over $100M in marketing and partner strategy investments, and strategic engagements, investments, and acquisitions. In his last role at Microsoft, he was the General Manager for Customer Lifecycle Management worldwide.
Most recently, Mauricio was VP of Product and Business Development at Tempered Networks, a leading cybersecurity technology company which he helped through a successful exit.
Mauricio is not new to data, analytics or IoT. He was Microsoft's second Entrepreneur in Residence in the company’s history and conceived and led “IT for the Physical World” which was the first sensor fusion incubation within Microsoft Research. And specific to aviation, Mauricio co-founded a company focused on leveraging flight data to inform flight operations.
